Legal
Privacy policy
Last updated
This policy covers the website openinferno.com. Each OpenInferno product has its own policy. In short: this site sets no cookies, loads no third-party scripts, and stores your email address only if you join the waitlist.
Cookies and local storage
The site sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser storage. For this reason it shows no cookie banner.
Visit statistics
We count visits with Umami, an open-source analytics tool that we run on our own server. It records the page, the referring site, the browser, the operating system, the device type, the screen size, the language, and the approximate location (country, region and city). The location comes from your IP address when the request arrives; the IP address itself is not stored. Umami uses no cookies and no identifier on your device. If your browser sends Do Not Track, nothing is recorded.
The waitlist
When you join the waitlist, we store:
- your email address,
- the date of the sign-up and of the confirmation,
- the page where you signed up.
We use the address only to send the confirmation email and launch news about OpenInferno products. We do not sell it or share it for marketing. An address that is not confirmed within 7 days is deleted.
Who processes the data
- DigitalOcean hosts the web server. The server keeps no access logs.
- Supabase hosts the database with the waitlist and the visit statistics.
- Resend sends the confirmation email.
Your choices
Every email has a link to leave the waitlist. The link deletes your address at once. To see or delete your data in another way, email hello@openinferno.com. We answer within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. A change that affects how we use your email address will be sent to you by email first.
